The backdrop to the skilful, thousand-year-old cultivation of Aglianico is the Mount Vùlture with its seven peaks, an extinct volcano that according to the poet and journalist Caesar Malpica means: Vult by all sides defended and Ur fire. Here the time of wine crossed the destiny of Elena FucciIn 2000, he inherited his grandfather Generoso's vineyards and, with visionary talent, carried on the oenological knowledge and tradition of the region.
The company, located in Barrel at an altitude of 600 metres, is built according to the principles of bio-architecture and eco-sustainability and displays a design that is completely in harmony with its surroundings. The Aglianico vineyards stretch out in six hectares and are bred with great attention to the natural cycles of the vine, according to the method a Guyout short and the Vulturinian hut, principles biological and manual harvesting.
Elena's expertise and passion, shared with her family and husband Andrea Manzani, is directed towards a single label called "Title"a wine that takes on the soul of the terroir volcanic and the microclimatic nuances of the area.
It expresses all its strength and minerality after ageing for 12 months in barriques 200 litre French oak barrels (created and designed for Title) and subsequent ageing in the bottle. An important and qualitative wine, capable of representing a feeling of identity and the cultural traits of this specific area.
