We reached 'at a distance' Luigi Di Tuccio of the Company Antica Enotria to gather some thoughts on the situation we are experiencing.
What is the daily routine you are experiencing and what are the projects of the Antica Enotria company at the moment?
Our activities also continue in this unfortunate period, devoting ourselves mostly to tending the land, which, unlike us, does not and cannot stay at home and is about to bear fruit, which will immediately become the new raw material for our wine and preserves production. We are also devoting ourselves to business development, so that we are not unprepared for the full reopening of operations. We have taken the opportunity to complete the work already started on our new website, the restyling of our corporate image and the creation of the online shop for our products, which is very useful at this time. Last but not least, we still continue, as far as possible, to process orders, which fortunately come mainly from abroad.
A thought and 'philosophy' of producer Di Tuccio of Antica Enotria?
Such situations threaten to undermine social life and human relationships in general forever, because the instinct, when one feels threatened by an invisible enemy, is to see danger everywhere, looking at every one of our fellows as a possible threat.
It will be up to us, therefore, to start again, immediately, thanks to that social solidarity that has always distinguished the Italian people, without falling into dangerous drifts and returning to being more supportive than before.
This is why this crisis could prove to be a great lesson for all future challenges ahead.
