Goblets of Stars 2022

Like every year, Calici di Stelle in Basilicata, an event organised by the Movimento Turismo del Vino, returns in August.
Never as in this edition has the desire to get back together to enjoy the territory and good company been at the heart of the event, says Elena Fucci President of the Basilicata Movement.

The protagonists, as always, were the Wines of Basilicata, and the producers with their passion and characteristic selections from each cellar. There were about 60 labels on tap.

This year's edition was hosted in a particularly evocative setting, the Terrace of the Vitis in Vulture Winery in Lavello, a place rich in history and tradition.

The enthusiasm is evident in the words of Giuseppe Avigliano, host of the winery: 'The land in which we are lucky enough to live and grow our projects is a wonderful place in every respect. It is rich in history and traditions and tenacious and genuine people, just like the land we cultivate with passion and dedication. And the Movimento Turismo del Vino di Basilicata is exactly the expression of all this. A fine group of people who passionately believe in these values.
We are delighted to host the event, and our hope is surely that these events will become more and more popular in order to increase the involvement and sensitivity of those who believe in our territory.

The presence of the Italian Sommelier Federation of Basilicata with President Nicola Gentile was also authoritative.
Beautiful even in the display of its uniform, the Federation offered its professionalism in advising and highlighting the qualities of the variety of wines from Basilicata on offer.
