Pears and chocolate
Ingredients for 4 persons
- Fresh fruit: 400 g (Williams pears);
- extra dark chocolate: 50 g
- semi-skimmed milk: 2 tbsp;
- white wine: 2 tbsp;
- cinnamon powder: a pinch.
Procedure
Peel the pears, cut them in half and place them in a pan. Soak them with a small glass of water, 2 tablespoons of white wine and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat. Meanwhile, melt the extra dark chocolate with milk in a bain-marie.
Remove the pears from the cooking liquid and place them on a serving plate. Allow the cooking liquid to reduce over a high heat and mix it with the chocolate cream.
Pour the resulting cream over the pears and serve warm or lukewarm.
