Elena Fucci is a leading figure on the wine scene in Basilicata, recognised for her ability to blend a modern approach with a deep respect for the land and its traditions. Her winery, founded in 2000 in Barile, is located in one of the most vocated wine-growing areas of Vulture, where the main grape variety is Aglianico.
Elena Fucci's vineyards extend over a little more than 7 hectares and are located in Contrada Solagna del Titolo, on the Vulture slope. Here, the soil is characterised by a unique composition, formed by layers of volcanic ash, clays and rocks, which give the wines a distinctive and complex profile. The decision to focus exclusively on Aglianico allows Fucci to highlight the particularities of this grape variety, enhancing its expressive potential through sustainable farming practices and careful vinification.
Elena Fucci's wines are recognised for their elegance and depth, reflecting the character of their land of origin. Fucci's passion and dedication for her work have helped position the winery as a reference in the southern Italian wine scene, attracting the attention of wine experts and enthusiasts from all over the world.
