The Fortemasso winery is located in Monforte d'Alba, one of the 11 communes where Barolo DOCG is produced, and is part of the AGB - Agricole Gussalli Beretta Group (5 wine cellars united by one important characteristic: the production of prestigious DOCG wines of the highest possible quality).
The Fortemasso vineyards are located in the MGA Castelletto on the slopes of a slope with a very high gradient, between 360 and 450 metres above sea level, and lie on soils characterised by a strong presence of sand. A location of rare beauty, dominating the Langa and overlooking the vineyards of Serralunga and Monforte; a competent staff, moved by a very clear production philosophy, which attaches extreme importance to the vineyard and uses a light hand in the cellar, in order to keep recognisable the traits of the Nebbiolo that grows in the MGA Castelletto; an eco-sustainable underground cellar, designed to preserve the external rural landscape and modernly conceived for the production process: all this is Fortemasso.
