ZeroDue Katia and Simone's sweet recipe
ZeroDue basically sounds just like the recipe for a successful dessert! The recipe for Katia and Simone's 'ice-cream parlour, pastry shop, artisan chocolate shop' project relaunched a few months ago in the new location in Rionero in Vulture.
Taking a dream and turning it into reality is their beautiful entrepreneurial story of a young couple in life and work.
The initial project
The initial project, the guys tell us, was to take over a bakery business already established in the town of Atella. A project that failed to materialise, so the choice was to start their own business from scratch, which opens its doors on 25 May 2013 as a bar and ice-cream parlour.
A few years later, in 2019, the idea of implementing the business with the pastry sector began to take shape. Katia follows various training courses in the sector, which increasingly strengthen and structure her passion and competence.
The time is right to launch the idea. In the meantime, a number of opportunities develop and a new location is identified that is perfectly suited to the new business project in the nearby town of Rionero in Vulture.
Covid tries to do its part but can only slow down and not block the progress of the project that has now taken off, as in "the dough once started cannot be interrupted". Katia finalises the definition of her professional skills with the valuable support of the Master Pastry Chef Augusto Palazzi which follows and enthusiastically supports the start-up of the new activity.
The new ZeroDue is born
ZeroDue finally reopens in Rionero the 27 April 2022 and immediately received the approval of those who already knew and appreciated its productions in its previous activity, and was also welcomed by the new public who began to discover its imagination, competence, hospitality and all the delicious productions.
As it is also a bar, of course, it is an exclusive pleasure the moment of the breakfast in the bakery which becomes even better, sweeter and more satisfying.
It is a rewarding activity, he tells us Simoneour customers appreciate our products and this is the right support to make us look to the future with confidence, especially at a time when the difficulties for business are adding up and do not seem to end.
We continue to study says Katiato also design and launch new products of our own. This summer just ended, we proposed two flavours in the ice cream and semifreddo sector to which we gave the names of ZeroDue – made with ricotta, pomegranate and pistachios - as our business and Sweetness of Heart – made with red fruit yoghurt with red fruit crumble, a white chocolate variegate and blueberries - as the claim we adopt in our corporate communication.
We are now studying new products that we plan to launch in the autumn period and would like to make them unique selections in our showcases for customers to find exclusively from us.
