Brown rice and cauliflower flan
A tasty recipe for an excellent rice flan
Ingredients for 4 persons
- brown rice 200 g
- cauliflower 1 kg
- 1 onion;
- wholemeal breadcrumbs 2 tbsp;
- 3 tablespoons of Evo oil;
- pepper to taste
- iodized salt.
Procedure
Divide the cauliflower into florets, wash it and steam it for 15 minutes.
In a frying pan fry the chopped onion with 1 tablespoon of EVO oil; add the previously cooked brown rice, following the directions on the packet, season with salt and pepper; then add the cauliflower (keeping some aside) and stir.
In a baking dish previously greased and sprinkled with wholemeal breadcrumbs, first lay the rice and then the cauliflower florets kept aside. Bake at 180 °C, depending on your oven, until a crust forms.
