Porridge
Oat flakes, dried fruit and apple
Ingredients for 1 person
- Oat flakes, 25 g
- milk to taste (oats, rice, etc.) 125 ml
- water, 125 ml
- apple no.1 (or another fresh seasonal fruit of your choice)
- dried fruit to taste No. 5 (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios)
- a pinch of salt
Procedure
Reduce the dried fruit to grains. Cut the apple into thin slices. Pour the oat flakes into a saucepan with the water and salt and cook over moderate heat, stirring until creamy. Add milk to taste and continue stirring for another 5 minutes. Pour the porridge onto the plate and complete by arranging the apple slices and dried fruit chips.
Variant
If you like, add just enough cinnamon powder (or ginger); alternatively, you can add sultanas while cooking.
